Large, Mostly Patterned, Diploid Seedlings (Evaluation bed)
This year (2018) we are planting about 6,000 seeds from last year's crossings. Almost one half of these are diploids. With our diploids we have focused on creating large blooms with patterns. The flowers depicted are in our evaluation beds. We keep extensive records of crossings to better our knowledge and assessment of our hybridizing efforts. Most of the images shown here, in some degree, can be traced back to the patterned introductions of Jack Carpenter. We have recently introduced a few registrations of Ron Reimer. In our opinion, Ron currently has the best diploid bed that we have seen!
